All companies shall, therefore,

·      Appoint an internship supervisor, both in Portugal and abroad, who can effectively monitor the intern throughout the training period and provide a serious and regular assessment of the fulfillment of the proposed internship plan;

·      Approve the training timesheet submitted by the intern each month;

·      Provide the the Program's coordinating team with the evaluation reports (mid-term and final reports) regarding the intern’s performance and level of accomplishment of the internship plan;

·       Contact the Program's coordinating team whenever there is a change in the proposed training plan and/or the impossibility of carrying on the internship itself;

The internship will be conducted in a continuous and uninterrupted way with the necessary adjustments to the company’s rules and policies as well as the region’s own characteristics. The intern is not allowed to have holidays but if the company is closed during the holiday period, then the coordinating team of INOV Contacto should be informed with a 2-month notice in order to place the intern, temporarily, in the closest AICEP office.

By arranging placements for interns for a period of one year through the ContactoINOV Contacto’s International Traineeship Programme, AICEP Global Portugal provides the Portuguese business community, internationalised and/or in the process of internationalisation, with:

            2.   Qualified human resources who, in addition to their general academic education, have already passed through the sieve of the Programme’s selection process (assessment of candidates is carried out by a human resources company, selected annually following market consultation).

 
           3.  Human resources ready to face the personal and professional challenges of foreign countries 

           4.  Highly qualified human resources whose areas of skills correspond to the particular requests/needs of  each company, as stated in the individual application process.

Note: The hosting of internships, whether abroad or in Portugal, involves no costs to Companies/Organisations.

Expenses not financed by AICEP Global Portugal that may arise are those related to aspects of the Internship Plan that the company presented such as travel to meetings in Portugal or abroad, in accordance with the interest and requirement of the company.
